First Aid at Work Re-Qualification (2-Day Course)
Our First Aid at Work Re-qualification course is specifically designed for individuals who already hold a valid First Aid at Work qualification, but whose certification is due to expire within the next 3 months. This 2-day face-to-face training course, lasting 6 hours per day, ensures that you stay compliant with Health and Safety Executive (HSE) requirements and are fully equipped to continue providing first aid in your workplace.
What You’ll Learn
This course refreshes and updates your existing knowledge and skills, with a focus on real-world applications to ensure you remain confident and capable in any emergency. The course content includes:
• CPR and AED (Automated External Defibrillator): A refresher on performing CPR and using an AED in emergency situations.
• Medical Emergencies: How to respond to heart attacks, strokes, seizures, and other serious health conditions.
• Wound Management: Treating cuts, burns, bleeding, and other injuries effectively.
• Fractures and Sprains: Assessing and managing fractures, sprains, and soft tissue injuries.
• Choking and Airway Management: Identifying and managing choking incidents, including performing the Heimlich maneuver.
• Shock: Recognizing and treating various forms of shock.
• Other Workplace Emergencies: Handling incidents like poisoning, electric shocks, and other common workplace accidents.

• Duration: 2 days (6 hours per day).
• Delivery Method: Face-to-face, interactive training with hands-on practical sessions.
• Certification: Upon successful completion, participants will receive a First Aid at Work Re-qualification certificate, valid for an additional 3 years.
